Vou passar o fim-de-semana com o meu pai. Tenho saudades dele, mas não daquela casa. A D. Teresa diz que a minha mãe às vezes anda por lá, em robe cor-de-rosa, e que isso a conforta. A mim mete-me medo. Tenho que fazer desaparecer aquela cadeira de plástico onde ela costumava estar, até porque não há memória de nunca mais ter sentado alguém. De que valem as coisas se ninguém se serve delas? Aquela casa tem coisas a mais. A culpa é do meu pai que parece que colecciona jornais e revistas. No Sábado, ao jantar, vou enumerar as vantagens da reciclagem para fingirmos que ninguém deu conta que a cadeira de plástico já não está lá. Sei que vamos ficar todos muito mais aliviados, porque não há espaço mais vazio do que aquele que a cadeira ocupa.
